The 2021 Andre the Giant Battle Royal took place during tonight’s episode of SmackDown, and in a pool of 22 superstars, Jey Uso reigned supreme. The right-hand man to Roman Reigns was able to outlast everyone en route to winning the prestigious match.

The Battle Royal – which included Akira Tozawa, Angel Garza, Cedric Alexander, Drew Gulak, Elias, Erik, Gran Metalik, Humberto Carillo, Jaxson Ryker, Jey Uso, Kalisto, King Corbin, Lince Dorado, Mace, Murphy, Mustafa Ali, Ricochet, Shelton Benjamin, Shinsuke Nakamura, Slapjack, T-Bar, and Tucker – was a brutal affair right from the start. A flurry of eliminations came during the beginning, with Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin eliminating Tozawa and Tucker before everyone else quickly threw them out of the ring.

By the end of the match, it was down to Jey Uso, King Corbin, and Shinsuke Nakamura. Despite surviving for so long, Corbin was eventually kicked out of the ring by Nakamura, who then faced off against Uso. Nakamura attempted to hit Uso with a Kinshasa but was met with an Uso superkick instead, but Nakamura was able to rally and finally connect with a Kinshasa afterwards. With Uso dazed, Nakamura tried to throw him over the ropes for the win, but Uso was able to counter by spinning the pair and sending Nakamura flying over the ropes.
