Trish Stratus Ponders Coming Out Of Retirement, Potential Opponents In Today’s WWE

Will Trish Stratus be the next WWE Legend to return to the company in modern times? It seems like it’s not out of the realm of possibility. Trish was last seen in WWE at last year’s SummerSlam battling Charlotte Flair. She was also originally scheduled to face Alexa Bliss at Evolution in 2018, but that evolved into a tag team match where she partnered with Lita to take on and ultimately defeat her old rival Mickie James and her replacement partner Alicia Fox.

In a chat with Women’s Wrestling Talk, Trish said that she’s open to another return to the ring if things were to “brew in a certain way.” As for who she’d be facing, the WWE Hall of Famer has a few ideas.

I mean prime or even not prime, I feel like Sasha and I have this like thing that I think fans want to see and I think deep down I would like to see. I love her so much, I respect her as a person and as an athlete and as a performer and as a friend. And, I love what she does in the ring… Not to say I’m coming back, I’m just saying that’s someone that I think…Trish Stratus and Sasha Banks is a nice pairing.

Trish also comments on one exclusion from the WWE Hall of Fame that she feels should be rectified sooner rather than later:

Victoria, Lisa Marie Varon. I don’t know, I’m surprised she hasn’t been inducted yet. I feel like she definitely… she did so much in WWE and then went on to have a whole another career in TNA and she is iconic.
