Seth Rollins And Buddy Murphy Retain RAW Tag Team Championship Against Kevin Owens And Samoa Joe

This week on WWE RAW, Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy defended the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship against Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe. Rollins has been engaged in a heated rivalry with Owens and Joe for several weeks. Rollins praised himself for eliminating Joe and Owens in the 2020 Men’s Royal Rumble match. He accepted Joe and Owen’s challenge to a WWE RAW Tag Team Championship match and dared them to come to the ring. Owens called Rollins delusional. “You suck now,” said Owens. Rollins said he told the Authors of Pain to stay in the back so the two teams could have a fair match. The Viking Raiders attacked the Authors of Pain backstage and referees tried to break up the brawl.

Eventually, the match officially began. Rollins and Joe began the match but Murphy quickly tagged in. Joe overpowered Murphy and isolated him. Owens and Joe dominated Murphy for a few minutes until Rollins tagged in. Rollins took control but Joe and Owens rallied with dives to the outside. Joe had to leave the match because the dive injured him. Murphy and Rollins capitalized on this advantage and grounded Owens.

Owens rallied and rocked Rollins with a pop-up powerbomb for a near fall. A Swanton Bomb from Owens earned him another near fall before he dove onto Rollins again. Owens hit Rollins with a Stunner but Murphy rolled Owens up to win the match.
