At the recent Mexico City IMPACT taping, Konnan was confronted by Psicosis II (the wrestler who received the mantle from the WCW legend). This was not an unexpected confrontation, as the wrestler promised to have words with Konnan this month after tweeting that Konnan was holding him back in AAA. What followed was a verbal back and forth before Psicosis slapped Konnan in the face and dared him to fight. This was all captured on film, with Konnan taking the high road and walking away from the situation.
Psicosis II (***NOT THE WCW ONE***) demanded Konnan say the same things to his face. Konnan didn't want to talk to Psicosis. So, Psicosis slapped Konnan and dared him to fight. The video is all over Mexican wrestling sites tonight: https://t.co/A8KA5nJjiM

According to luchablog’s excellent summary of the goings on from Twitter, press at the IMPACT taping later asked Konnan about the incident, and he said it was “no big deal.” Whether the confrontation continues in a future meeting or on social media, it seems that Psicosis will have to try a tactic other than ambushing in the streets if he wants results.
