Mark Haskins recently spoke with Fightful about his goals for his run with Lifeblood in ROH. A recent full-time acquisition by the company Haskins revealed that he was in negotiation with ROH for longer than most assumed. “We were in talks from around August of last year to be a part of their UK tour, and they had some slots coming up.” According to Haskins, Lifeblood was always in the cards from the moment he signed.
We went into Lifeblood straight away. It’s a group of guys who want to break out and make a name for itself and bring back Ring of Honor what it was all about in the first place. I had a couple of different offers on the table that looked exciting, but Ring Of Honor was something I’ve always wanted to do, and when the opportunity came, I jumped at it.
While this isn’t Haskins’ first time in a major promotion, as he was part of the X Division in TNA back in 2011. Haskins says he learned a lot from that experience, but he would tell himself back then to not “be afraid to say no.”
As for the future, Haskins hopes that ROH can start up an operation in the UK. “That would be fantastic for me. Leave me in charge and I’ll see what I can do for everybody.”
