In a new report, it seems as if Ronda Rousey is set to undergo surgery this upcoming week for the broken hand that the superstar suffered at WrestleMania 35.
According to an exclusive report from Fightful, Rousey was backstage at the past Monday Night RAW at the Barclays Center, but wasn’t used due to a combination of planned time off from the company combined and her injury. Further, in the report, it is stated that the WWE is hopeful that Rousey will be able to return either later this year or sometime next year, but that Rousey has “given WWE no clear indication of her next move.”
After losing in the main event of WrestleMania 35 to Becky Lynch, Rousey was clearly injured throughout the match, and now with a reported surgery on the table, it seems as if things were serious enough to warrant some time off.
