After coming out and interrupting R Truth and Carmella on tonight’s SmackDown Live, Samoa Joe quickly dispatched Truth and then took to the microphone, boasting about how quickly he defeated Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 35. From there, he challenged any superstar in the back, saying that he could easily dispatch with anyone. Of course, one man answered the call, and that was Braun Strowman, who surprised the crowd by invading SmackDown and storming out into the ring.
In the ring, he and Joe began to get into a brief brawl. After trading punches and submissions, Strowman was able to get Joe out of the ring and running backstage, leaving Strowman to flex for the crowd and signal that he’s apparently ready to take on Joe’s challenge.
