Speaking with UK wrestling podcast Gorilla Position, Kurt Angle may have spilled the beans on some as of now unannounced WrestleMania plans for the leader of the Cenation. When asked about wanting John Cena as his opponent in his last match, he had this to say.

I was hoping it was going to be John, but it didn’t happen. I’m sure that he has another match in mind, but I wanted him to end my career just like I started his career. It was a good little storyline, but it, unfortunately, won’t work out. I love John and he will have a WrestleMania match. I’m not sure if they announced it yet but I’m almost positive he’s going to be there.
So, is Kurt speaking as a fan in this instance, or does he know something we don’t know? Is it possible that he’s swerving all of us away from the obvious final match on the Kurt Angle farewell tour? We have just over 48 hours to ponder these questions as WrestleMania 35 gets ever closer. As of now, Angle will face Baron Corbin in his last match at the showcase of the immortals.
