The Mexican wrestler that was knocked out by a concrete block thrown at his head yesterday at the Lucha Memes/Lucha Boom show has successfully undergone a surgery to remove a blood clot in his brain.
A facebook post on the wrestler, Cuervo’s, page indicated that he had entered the operating theater yesterday and Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that his manager claimed the procedure to be successful.
Angel o Demonio was the wrestler who threw the concrete block at Cuervo’s head, after reportedly being upset at being attacked repeatedly with chair shots during their match.
It is also reported that Angel o Demonio has been indefinitely suspended by the Boxing and Wrestling Commission of Mexico.
