The lucha world has come together for a good cause, as fans and wrestlers alike turn their attention to the IWRG Cuervo Benefit Show.
Cuervo was the victim of one of the most heinous acts in wrestling history, as he took a concrete cement block to the back of his head in gruesome fashion, courtesy of the now suspended Angel o Demonio.
Cuervo suffered an epidural hematoma and fractured skull. Cuervo was rushed into emergency surgery to repair a blood clot in his head and is expected to be out of action for a year or more. Sinn Bodhi was Cuervo’s roommate at IWRG and told WrestleZone that although Demonio attempted to pass the incident off as a ‘receipt,’ likened Demonio’s antics to a ‘premeditated attack.’
