SummerSlam is the second biggest event in WWE’s PPV calendar and has been that way for a good part of 3 decades. It’s developed a lot of prestige over the years and we’ve seen some of the greatest matches in WWE history and some of the greatest moments in WWE history take place on this very PPV.
Naturally, every major PPV is noted by the headliner. After all, it is the top 2-3 stars that do sell the PPVs more than others do.
