John Cena himself has expressed the desire to face Velveteen Dream, even referring to him as “The One”. Being a veteran of the business, Cena has a clear eye for talent, and with Patrick Clark only turning 24 in 2019, it’s clear that he’s one of the biggest prospects in the company.
He’s going to be in it for the long haul, and similar to how Kevin Owens’ introductory feud was John Cena, the very same could be the case for Velveteen Dream. Cena could even put over Dream clean or have a trilogy where Dream looks good even in defeat.
