#5.) Her unconventional journey to the WWE
Trish Stratus’ major break happened when she was working as a receptionist at a local gym in Ontario. She was approached by the publisher of MuscleMag International to do a shoot for them and she agreed, signing a two-year contract. Around the same time, she also started working for Toronto Sports Radio Station The Fan 590. She was the co-host of a program called Live Audio Wrestling.
She was evidently a huge fan of pro wrestling and this would be instrumental in her signing with WWE. This combined with her successful modeling gig helped her get signed by WWE in 1999. The rest, as they say, is history.
