Sanity Debuts

The Dusty Rhodes tag team classic started with a revelation. First, Wolfe and Fulton are revealed with new gimmicks and immediately beat down Tye Dillinger. Bobby Roode gets into the ring and looks around before he leaves Tye by himself. Sanity hits a few more moves and then pick up the victory. Nikki Cross unmasks and beats up Tye. The last man revealed is Eric Young. Sanity is finally here and advance in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

I have always enjoyed Eric Young and him leading a stable is a great idea. I love the debut of Young, keeping him a few months separated from the official Bobby Roode debut. Both men are going to be extremely successful and I really enjoyed how they beat down Tye. Dillinger is such a fan favorite, so they were able to target a face and try not to get so many cheers.

The insane Eric Young was so damn good in TNA, so I expect WWE and NXT specifically to capitalize on how dastardly of a heel he can be. Furthermore, Bobby Roode vs. Tye Dillinger can be a nice feud for both men in the coming weeks also. Tye has a gripe about being left alone and Bobby Roode talking about Tye being a loser is an easy way to get some heat. A really solid first ten minutes of NXT with three potential stars.

Billie Kay defeated Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan rolls Kay up in a small package and then a snapmare takedown. Morgan hits a dropkick and then backslides her into a two count. Kay takes over with a backbreaker. A big boot in the corner and then a modified Torture rack. As she brags, Liv Morgan surprises Kay with an STO,f ollowed by a nice dropkick. Peyton Royce aids Kay with tripping up Liv from the outside, which allows Billie to connect with a big boot for the win.

A nice match for Billie and Liv. It will never be the smoothest execution with Liv Morgan, but she showed improvement in the ring and hit a few nice offensive moves. Billie Kay continues to do exactly what she needs to do to succeed. Her and Peyton Royce are a nice pairing, really benefitting off of the other.

You have a few women who are getting better and better each week, but the gap to Asuka is still so wide.
