The Dudley Boyz defeated Los Matadores
Bubba hits a nice backbreaker on Fernando, but he hits a kick and Diego hits a swanton from the apron. He misses a corner splash and El Torito begins to yell. He gets slapped and then gets hit with a 3D for the win.
This was pretty unimportant. They get a championship shot at Night of Champions against either The New Day or Prime Time Players, I find it crazy how over The Dudleys are. They could easily get the loudest pop of the night each week right now. They are nostalgic, yes, but they can still go.
The match just stunk. There was no meaning and lasted about 70 seconds.
Raw Quick Hits
-Cesaro fights The Miz and gets interrupted by an upset Big Show. Miz and Big Show continue to play a game of cat and mouse, with Cesaro being wasted once again. THE GUY IS MONEY! Instead of doing something to push him and give him meaning, they waste him for the second consecutive week. This is very frustrating for a guy who is the best performer inside of those ropes.
Team Bella comes out and Nikki talks about the “Bella Tron.” Nikki says there is a “Bella-bration” tonight. She talks about throwing a party and everyone is invited next week. Charlotte and Team PCB come out. Charlotte says that next week she is going to spoil her attempt at breaking the record and there is a Divas championship match next week. This is the right call. You need to load this show next week to compete with Monday Night Football and the streak is actually more important to be tested than having the streak and then 6 days later not being a storyline for you to thrive on.
