EveEve Defeats Layla To Win The WWE Divas Championship

What I Liked:

I was interested in seeing Kaitlyn in the match, but I understand why they did not have her fight. Eve and Layla exchange some moves in a slower paced match. Eve asks for a handshake, and then kicks down Layla. Eve controlled most of the match from an offensive standpoint, until Layla would counter with a DDT. Layla would try and set up her finisher, but Eve countered out of it. She would hit a Neckbreaker for the victory and a new Divas Champion is crowned. Eve is way over compared to Layla. Since Layla has won the Divas Championship, it has been completely irrelavant. She simply does not get over with the crowd.

What I Disliked:

This was the perfect bathroom break. The match lacked many pieces of a good Divas match, and really was boring from the beginning. Layla and Eve hit a few nice moves, but that is it. You just felt like it was dragging on, and a simple break from the two main events.

Sheamus Defeats Alberto Del Rio To Retain The World Heavyweight Championship

What I Liked:

FYI, the Brogue Kick was now reinstated for use before the match. Once again, Del Rio and Sheamus work well together, like they always do. Sheamus starts by working on the chest of Del Rio. Clotheslines and body slams from Sheamus get his offense going, until Del Rio stops him in his tracks. The action gets physical with Del Rio throwing Sheamus into the announcer's table. Sheamus would hit an axe handle smash and some kicks, then he avoids a Cross Armbreaker attempt and hits a kneelift, followed by a powerslam for a near fall. As the match continued, Sheamus goes to tie him in the ropes but Alberto counters, so Sheamus instead sends him into the ringpost and pulls him over the turnbuckles and punches him. Alberto comes back with a Backstabber for a near fall, then he stomps Sheamus' shoulder and sets up a Cross Armbreaker. Sheamus counters with White Noise, then he sets up for the Brogue Kick but Alberto ducks and hits an enziguiri for a near fall. After all of this action, I actually felt for a second that Sheamus could potentially win this match. The ending saw Sheamus duck a kick from Del Rio, and connect with a Brogue Kick for the win.

What I Disliked:

This was very entertaining, but still, Del Rio does not get over with the crowd as much as he needs to.  Sheamus needs another contender, and needs one fast. If not, people will get bored with him continuing to do the same thing. Also, this Brogue Kick banning was absolutely ridiculous. It was stupid, meaningless, and a horrible attempt at trying to get us to believe that Del Rio could win. Does anyone know the point of banning it and then un-banning it?
