#3.) Emphasis on character-driven wrestlers
This is something that AEW must fix as soon as they possibly can. While the company is filled with many of the greatest in-ring performers in the world today, that won’t suffice. They need strong, solid characters who the crowd and TV audience can connect to and give them a reason to tune in every week.
Fans are always going to lean more towards strong characters than strong in-ring performers. AEW needs to start pushing stars like MJF more and feature them in good stories to get the audience more invested.
