WWE Stomping Grounds turned out to be a surprisingly great PPV. Though it looked extremely underwhelming on paper, it turned out to be brilliant on execution. A large part of this had to do with the hot crowd, good matches and simply put – the right people going over. It’s often said that in pro wrestling, “wins and losses don’t matter”.
However, we’ve seen countless examples to prove the contrary and WWE Stomping Grounds was the glaring proof of that. Had the wrong superstars gone over, fans would have instantly criticized the PPV. However, it’s gotten good reviews and it has a lot to do with the fact that many superstars came out of it looking good.
While the PPV wasn’t without its faults, there wasn’t too much to criticize per se. Here are five superstars who shined the most on the PPV.
