Stephanie Vaquer’s injury is not a work.
The April 27 episode of WWE RAW featured La Primera in a backstage segment. Vaquer was attacked by The Judgment Day, with the angle showing Roxanne Perez ramming an equipment box into her before Liv Morgan appeared to taunt her.
Michael Cole noted on commentary that Stephanie Vaquer sustained a second-degree AC sprain due to the attack and “would be out for a bit.” According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Radio (via F4WOnline.com), the injury is legitimate.
“Alvarez said the injury is legitimate and is likely the sprain they referenced last night. It’s unclear where the injury was first sustained,” the report noted.
It remains unclear how long Vaquer has been dealing with the injury. She last competed at WrestleMania 42 Saturday, where she dropped the WWE Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan.
BodySlam.net reported that WWE kept the match short due to both Vaquer and Morgan being banged up heading into WrestleMania 42. Morgan was also reportedly placed in concussion protocol after her head was slammed into Roxanne Perez following Vaquer’s attack from behind.
WrestleZone wishes Stephanie Vaquer the best on her road to recovery.
