Rising independent wrestler Ricky Sosa made a strong impression during his debut on TNA iMPACT. The 21-year-old showed what made him one of the most talked-about prospects in pro wrestling.
Sosa appeared on the March 12 episode of iMPACT. He faced Brad Attitude in the match.
It was an important moment for Sosa. It was not only his debut in TNA Wrestling, but also his first appearance on North American TV. The Belgian wrestler had previously built his reputation mainly on the European independent wrestling scene.

The match started with a small scare for Sosa. Early in the match, he tried to jump from the top rope but slipped and landed awkwardly on his head. The mistake allowed Attitude to take control of the match for a short time.
However, Sosa bounced back and hit a moonsault that helped shift the momentum towards him. He then made a dive outside onto Attitude.
The finish came when Attitude tried to perform a high-risk move. Sosa caught him in mid-air and turned it into his finishing move, the Blue Thunder Bang, which is a variation of the Blue Thunderbomb, to win the match.
After the match, many fans praised Sosa online. Several fans also mentioned his famous “Bang Bang Sosa Sosa” entrance, which had recently gone viral, even before his TNA debut.
Before joining TNA, Sosa had competed in many promotions, including Westside Xtreme Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Holland, and French promotions such as Catch As Catch Can and APC.
He is currently the wXw European Champion and Legion Industrial Champion. Earlier this month, he also won the first-ever KHAO Wrestling Championship.
Earlier this year, Sosa competed in the Netherlands, where he challenged Cappuccino Jones for the WWE ID Championship. Although he lost, it was another notable match in his growing career.
It is still unclear whether Sosa has signed a full-time contract with TNA. However, his appearance at recent tapings in Atlanta suggests the promotion wants to see more from the young star.
