Her health struggles date back several months and have been described as unpredictable and difficult to diagnose. Ash previously revealed that she spent multiple days in the ICU and referred to her condition as a “medical mystery,” noting that she can feel fine one day but experience sudden issues the next.
The situation previously forced her to step away from wrestling in September 2025. During that time, she relinquished the TNA Knockouts Championship and announced a brief retirement due to the unclear nature of her medical condition — a development that left her future in the ring uncertain.
She later detailed how doctors initially told her she might not be able to wrestle again, saying, “When they were like, ‘You can’t wrestle anymore,’ I’m like, ‘What do I have to live for?’” Despite that setback, she gradually worked toward a return and re-entered competition in January 2026.
Ash most recently competed at TNA Rebellion in April, showing she was still active, but the latest surgery confirms that her health journey is far from over.
