TNA No Surrender Sees 76-Year-Old Wrestler in Action

TNA No Surrender delivered its share of chaos and championship drama — but one of the loudest reactions of the night came for a competitor who has been lacing up boots longer than some of the roster has been alive.

Midway through the event, a familiar name from TNA’s past made a surprise return. Action Mike Jackson, now 76 years old, stepped back into a TNA ring to face “The Southern Psycho” Mance Warner in a singles match that felt equal parts throwback and test of endurance.

Jackson previously competed for TNA during its IMPACT Wrestling era, debuting in 2020 against Johnny Swinger and later teaming with him in December 2021. His last match for the company came in 2022.

A staple of the Southern independent scene — particularly in Alabama — Jackson remains known for his agility and fearless style.

At No Surrender, he showed he can still go.

The match opened with a lock-up before Jackson climbed to the top rope and delivered an “Old School” walk across all four sides of the ring.

He later blocked a suplex on the floor, countered with one of his own, and followed up with a tope through the ropes. For a moment, time stood still — and so did the crowd.

Back inside, Jackson fought through a flurry of offense and landed a hangman’s neckbreaker for a near fall. However, a blind cross-body attempt proved costly. Warner sidestepped, connected with a brutal clothesline, and sealed the win with an implant DDT.

Warner helped Jackson to his feet afterwards, and the two shared a handshake. Steph De Lander also shook Jackson’s hand, which angered AJ Francis. Francis confronted De Lander, accusing her of making Warner “soft,” before storming off.

Jackson may not have scored the victory, but at 76, simply stepping between the ropes was a statement. In a business built on moments, this one proved age is just another number on the card.
