Drew McIntyre is reportedly gutting things out right now in WWE with an injury.
Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Drew McIntyre hasn’t worked a match on weekly WWE programming since the RAW after WrestleMania, where he lost a fatal four-way match due to CM Punk.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, McIntyre is currently injured with a “badly hyperextended elbow.” It’s believed this injury took place during his match with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania.
Despite the injury, McIntyre is currently working the WWE UK tour with a sleeve on his left arm. The Scottish Psychopath has been working with the tour with “Main Event” Jey Uso.
With McIntyre’s current WWE contract expiring in a matter of weeks, taking time off for an injury would result in more time being tacked on to the current deal.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on Drew McIntyre’s injury as it becomes available.
