Liv Morgan believes that nothing will ever top the way she felt when she triumphed at WWE Money in the Bank.
At the WWE premium live event on July 2, Morgan won the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match and proceeded to successfully cash in the contract on SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey. In doing so, she won her first title with the company.
In an interview with BT Sport, Morgan discussed the emotional moment and noted that nothing will ever compare to it because it felt like a genuine celebration of her accomplishment and her perseverance.
“I knew no matter what I do for the rest of my career, you know, I’m hoping and working towards having hundreds of amazing moments, but I know nothing will ever compare or ever feel like Money in the Bank did for me, personally,” said Morgan. “It just felt like we did. I felt like I was celebrating with thousands of friends and family that had just watched me and willed me to accomplish this kind of task that feels un-tackleable. I just made up a word.”
The champion went on to describe how she tried to soak in the moment, and she has watched it back several times.
“I definitely took in many moments and tried to soak in as much of it as I possibly could, just standing there kind of looking around and just trying to just remember everyone’s faces and remember what I heard,” Morgan continued. “I mean I watched it back a million times, not gonna lie. I watched me winning Money in the Bank and cashing in back one hundred times. Never gets old.”
