For most of 2019, Dean Ambrose’s future has been a mystery. After several sites reported that Ambrose would be leaving the WWE in April, the company confirmed that the Lunatic Fringe would be leaving. In the weeks that followed, fans have wondered whether Ambrose is actually leaving. On RAW, the WWE billed Ambrose’s match with Bobby Lashley as his last with the company.

Ambrose attacked Lashley after the former Intercontinental Champion insulted Ambrose’s wife, Renee Young. The match never started; instead, Ambrose assaulted Lashley throughout the arena. Lio Rush distracted Ambrose, which allowed Lashley to slam Ambrose through the announce table.
