-The Ascension is out to kick off the show, and they don’t look happy at all. As if they’ve ever looked happy…
(1) The Ascension vs. Tye Dillinger & Jason Jordan
Jason tries to lock up with Viktor, but ends up taking a beating via half a dozen knife-edge chops. Konnor tags in and sets in with shoulder tackles and big kicks in the corner. The crowd is on board with that. Jason throws a shoulder and tags in Dillinger, who runs right into a flapjack. In comes Viktor, and they hit Tye with the Fall of Man for the relatively easy 1-2-3.
Winners: The Ascension
-The Ascension “celebrates” their victory, until Hideo Itami runs out and tries to attack them. Itami has some offense for a few seconds, but ends up getting destroyed by the former tag champions. A few fans chant “thanks for coming”, and the Ascension ends the beat down with the Fall of Man.
