MLW Fusion Results – June 16, 2022
This week’s show starts with a recap of the Samoan Swat Team breaking in and destroying Cesar Duran’s office. They sing about beating his ass and breaking him down, then Juicy strums on a guitar and sings that they’re going to “f-ck you up”.
Cesar is then shown surveying the aftermath, and Taya Valkyrie walks into the room. He says it’s been a while since ‘Boyle Heights’ and she almost calls him Dario, nods to Lucha Underground, but he stops her and says it’s Cesar now. She says that she knows he’s still got the Boyle Heights in him and walks away.
Gangrel defeated Budd Heavy
- Gangrel wins rather easily after hitting a diving bulldog and an Impaler DDT. After the match, Gangrel’s stable stomps Budd on the floor and drags him away from ringside.
MLW recaps the history between Jacob Fatu and Cesar Duran, then they announce a Weapons Of Mass Destruction match between Fatu and Mads Kruegger for next week.

MLW World Tag Team Championship
Hustle & Power (Calvin Tankman and EJ Nduka) (c) vs. 5150 vs. The Von Erichs
- Hustle & Power retain. The Von Erichs put Hernandez through a table after an Iron Claw, then Tankman caught Rivera in the air and Judge assisted with a spike piledriver for the pin. Los Maximos attacked the champs after the bell and ended up fighting to the back.

Davey Richards asks Myron Reed to join Team Ambition, and Reed accepts. He pumps his fist and looks in the camera.
A promo teasing Killer Kross and Scarlett’s arrival plays, followed by a Mads Kruegger vignette.
nZo is shown outside of the building when his companion mentions that it looks like someone hit his car. nZo asks who was driving a black Cadillac and someone off-screen tells him it was Fatu, and nZo tells her (Dana) to get in the car while he goes in the building.
A new promo with Richard Holliday in Beverly Hills is shown, and Holliday takes a call about turning down an agency. He says he signed with a tier-one agency and refers to himself as the next MLW World Champion. He brags about pinning Alex Hammerstone on last week’s show and hangs up.

Taya Valkyrie defeats Holidead
Arez jumps on the apron and shouts something to Holidead, who attempts a double underhook driver. Taya blocks it and shoves her into Arez, then knocks him off of the apron. Taya turns and gets kicked in the face, but she dodges a knee strike and applies an STF. Holidead tries to break the hold, so Taya stomps her head and makes her tap to the STF.
