Before getting released from the company, Daniel Bryan and Big Cass were involved in a feud together. After getting split from Enzo Amore, Cass got in a program with Daniel Bryan and would face him at Backlash and Money in the Bank, both being losing efforts for Cass. He was released soon after his match at MITB.
Daniel Bryan did an interview with Sky Sports recently where he talked about working with Big Cass.
Bryan said he liked Cass a lot as a person and hopes he does well on his future prospects.
“I really liked wrestling Big Cass. I thought he progressed a lot in the time that we were working together, and so I honestly wish him the best of luck. I like him a lot as a person and as a wrestler so I hope he does very well.”
