When Will Chris Jericho Defend The IWGP Intercontinental Title?
Chris Jericho won the IWGP Intercontinental Title from Tetsuya Naito at Dominion 2018 in an instant classic, but hasn’t been on NJPW programming since to defend his belt.
Asking after this, a fan quizzed Dave Meltzer about when Jericho is expected back and if his absence is hurting the prestige of the IWGP Intercontinental Title as compared to when the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura and Hiroshi Tanahashi defended it regularly.
Meltzer replied that Jericho will show up soon for an angle and that a match won’t be far behind, and could possibly go down at the NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling card held in October or at the Tokyo Dome show held in January.
It's Jericho, which means some day he's showing up for an angle and the match will be soon after. Possibly KOPW or Tokyo Dome. https://t.co/HM0OikY83u

Mandy Rose Puts Paige On Blast For ‘Preferential Treatment’
After SmackDown General Manager Paige facilitated Charlotte Flair’s comeback with a direct route to the SmackDown Live Women’s Title at Summerslam, her former Absolution stable mate Mandy Rose didn’t have kind words for her.
Paige put Charlotte Flair in a match against Champion Carmella, saying that a victory for her would make the Becky Lynch – Carmella match at SummerSlam into a Triple Threat.
Mandy accused Paige of preferential treatment to her former PCB teammates and called her out for not extending the ‘same courtesy’ to her former Absolution teammates.
I find it pretty ridiculous that @RealPaigeWWE gives her former PCB teammates preferential treatment, but doesn’t extend the same courtesy to her former #Absolution teammates?! Hmm… ?? Come on GM you should know what’s best for business!?♀️??♀️
