AJ Styles’ Summerslam Opponent Confirmed
AJ Styles now knows he will face off with Samoa Joe at Summerslam next month. Joe attacked Styles from behind during the contract signing, choking him out before signing the contract and throwing a table on Styles.
Paige later caught up with Joe backstage and asked what he was doing, saying she picked him for being unpredictable, confirming he was the original pick.

James Ellsworth Fired On Smackdown
During the contract signing and opponent reveal, Ellsworth cut things off and feigned like he was the opponent. Paige immediately said he was not the guy, then Ellsworth cut a promo about how great he was, but Paige said she’s had enough of him. Paige fired him on the spot and had him carried out by security, then told him to stay out once they tossed him out of the building.
