Japanese wrestling publication Weekly Pro Wrestling is reporting that Masa Saito passed away on Saturday at the age of 76 after complications from an ongoing battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Saito was a former Florida NWA Heavyweight Champion, a former WWF Tag Team Champion with Mr. Fuji, a former two-time IWGP Tag Team Champion and a former AWA World Heavyweight Champion. His final match was against Scott Norton in 1999. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2000.
