Sean ‘X-Pac’ Waltman Responds to Eric Bischoff’s 83 Weeks Podcast Comment Saying Sean ‘Reneged’ On His Agreement
What happened was as I’d been there a while, I was performing at a high level, I was getting paid $250,000 a year and I was being used in a spot where guys typically were getting paid double that. So, I wanted a raise, not wrong for asking for it, you can be told ‘no’ so that’s all that was. You’ll hear Eric {Bischoff} say I reneged, never not once. You can’t renege, the deal is already done, there’s no way I could have reneged. I just wanted a raise, I thought I deserved a raise, he had given raises to Scott {Hall} and Kevin {Nash} during that time so that’s why I felt it was okay to do that.
Sean ‘X-Pac’ Waltman Responds to Eric Bischoff’s 83 Weeks Podcast Comment Saying That Sean Was A Competent Performer When Sober
What Eric {Bischoff} said, ‘he was a competent performer when sober’, all that, I’m almost positive he said that in his book which came out quite a while after this happened. So, yeah it was a shitty thing to say in his book but I don’t take that personal and it was said after I came out, and we came at him pretty hard. So, I absolutely don’t have a problem with that except for the fact that when I worked for WCW I was one of the cleanest guys working for them, I didn’t even touch alcohol, I didn’t touch any pills, all I did was smoke pot, that’s it. And trust me that was the least of the shit that was going on around there.

Sean ‘X-Pac’ Waltman Talks About His WCW Letter of Termination In Response To Eric Bischoff’s 83 Weeks Podcast
If I am going to go by what the letter of termination said, it said I was fired for non-performance, for not being able to perform. It’s kinda shitty but maybe they technically had a leg to stand on. I don’t know, we’re not litigating that right now. I can produce the documents but I don’t think it’s worth that…
Sean ‘X-Pac’ Waltman Talks About The Letter of Intent Eric Bischoff Discussed in 83 Weeks
Here’s the thing, a letter of intent or deal memo which was legally binding. All of the main terms of the agreement were in it including; the dates, the money, all of that real important shit. It was all in the deal memo and it was signed or else I wouldn’t have been getting paid the whole time. It was well over a year…
