Former World Champ Now An Art Instructor
Former WCW World Champion, David Arquette, is now a certified Bob Ross art instructor. The actor turned wrestler sat down with director Mick Garris, host of the Post Mortem podcast, and elaborated:
“I recently took a Bob Ross instructional course. He is so calming and so amazing, the way he paints so fast. I was just obsessed with it and it relaxed me, so I was just watching one time and thoughts, ‘I wonder if you can still take his course?’ So I called up BobRoss.com and they were like, ‘Yeah, there’s a local instructor you can find.’ So, I met this guy, and he was amazing. I took this course and then I asked him, ‘How did you get certified to do this?’ He said, ‘Well it’s a three week course in New Smyrna Beach.’ So this past summer I went there and I did it. Now I’ve taught like thirty people how to paint these little happy trees.”
