Match #9: WWE Universal Championship Match Brock Lesnar (c) vs Roman Reigns (Steel Cage Match)
Roman gets the biggest over the stadium fireworks display of the night. He is met with a mixture of boos and cheers.
Brock takes his time coming to the ring and prowls around the outside before finally entering. Paul Heyman gives Brock his typical huge intro but includes that Brock is in his home, the steel cage.
Brock and Roman taking their time squaring each other up before Roman lunges at Brock for a Superman Punch. Brock grabs Roman out of mid-air and hits him with a German suplex. Brock then takes Roman Reigns to Suplex City by hitting him with three more suplexes bringing the total to four.
Lesnar then just stares at Roman’s lifeless body while laughing. Once Reigns gets to his feet Brock picks him up and delivers an F-5. Lesnar goes to deliver another F-5 but Roman slides off and grabs the cage. Roman starts to climb the cage and makes it over the top. Lesnar charges the cage, grabs him and starts to pull Roman back into the ring. Lesnar finally pulls Reigns back in and throws him to the mat. Lesnar then starts to climb the cage himself but Reigns gets to his feet and grabs Lesnar by the legs. Roman finally pulls Lesnar off the cage, has him in the powerbomb position and delivers the powerbomb.
Reigns then picks up Lesnar and begins to throw Lesnar face first off the cage repeatedly. Once Lesnar is sufficiently dazed Roman delivers a big spear. Lesnar gets to his feet and Reigns delivers another spear! Lesnar is now fully out on his feet, Roman bounces back and forth off the ropes and hits Lesnar with a massive spear with lots of momentum. Roman crawls on top of Lesnar and goes for the pinfall but Lesnar kicks out.
The referees open the cage door and Reigns begins to walk out only to have Heyman run by and slam the cage in his face. Lesnar then grabs Reigns and delivers another F-5 but only gets a two count. Heyman then slides a steel chair into the ring for Lesnar. Lesnar rips his gloves off and grabs the chair. Lesnar turns around to hit Reigns with the chair but Reigns catches him with a spear and now Reigns has the chair. Reigns takes the chair and slams it across the back of Lesnar. Reigns then goes on a tear repeatedly bashing Lesnar with the chair before going to the corner and calling for a Superman Punch. Reigns delivers the Superman Punch and calls for the spear.
Reigns then spears Lesnar through the cage to the outside with Lesnar landing on the outside first and winning the match!
