Changes In Main Event For WrestleMania; Brock Lesnar’s WWE Future
According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE could be possibly be moving away from the WWE Universal Championship match between Brock Lesnar against Roman Reigns as the last match at Wrestlemania. This change of attitude is a response to Lesnar’s current contract coming to end soon, and the expectation that Lesnar will go back to UFC following ‘Mania. At the same time sources close to the situation believe Lesnar will sign a new deal with WWE, but the company will continue with the idea that Lesnar is leaving and part of the mentality right now is to pull downplay ‘the Beast’ on his way out so it won’t look like such a big loss if he does leave.
The hope from WWE’s side reportedly is that these circumstances could get more fans behind Reigns heading into the match. There is now a possibility that the last match on the big show in New Orleans could be Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey vs. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
