Potential Wrestlemania Plans For Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer is reporting that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are currently slotted to compete in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal at Wrestlemania in New Orleans. This news has not been confirmed officially by WWE. You can read and subscribe to the Wrestling Observer here.
The two Smackdown Superstars are confirmed to compete this Sunday at the ‘Fastlane’ pay-per-view in the Six-Pack Challenge Match for the WWE Championship, with the winner taking the title to ‘Mania. In a story line twist this week on Smackdown, Zayn turned on his ally Owens pinning in a Fatal 5-Way Match which set the expectations for possible reignited grudge one-on-one match.

Former NXT Champion Prepares To Return
Pwinsider is reporting this week that former NXT Champion Drew McIntyre was training this week at the WWE Performance Center in Florida as he prepares for a return to the ring. McIntyre who rejoined the WWE ranks last year in NXT, suffered a shoulder injury in a main event loss to Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas at Takeover in November. It was speculated when McIntyre went down with a reported torn bicep that he would force the Scottish born wrestler to miss six months of action, and now it is believed that he could be ready to go by April.
