WWE RAW
WWE.com posted the following, confirming Asuka will respond to Nia Jax on tonight’s show:
Nia Jax proved that she is the Superstar most ready for Asuka when she laid out both Sasha Banks and Bayley this past Monday night on Raw. With Asuka set to speak live on Raw, will The Empress of Tomorrow send a message of her own to The Irresistible Force before their match at WWE Elimination Chamber?
This segment joins the two other confirmed matches announced for tonight’s show which include both the men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber match competitors facing off with each other in respective matches.
No Crews?
It looks like Apollo Crews is the latest WWE star to undergo a name tweak, as WWE.com has him listed as ‘Apollo’ and no last name. It’s unknown why the sudden name change, but Apollo’s Twitter account has been changed to ‘Apollo’ (despite the verified handle still remaining @ApolloCrews).
Several other WWE stars had their first or last names dropped in recent years, but it’s interesting to note with Crews since they just started using the ‘Crews Can’t Lose’ tagline. (Even though he lost a match since then) Some of the more notable name changes include:
- Big E (Langston)
- (Alexander) Rusev
- (Antonio) Cesaro
- (Adrian) Neville
- Elias (Samson)
