Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will be fighting for their WWE careers at WWE Clash of Champions when they battle Randy Orton & Shinsuke Nakamura in a crucial tag team showdown. And to make matters worse for the rebellious pair, the special guest referee in the match will be none other than SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon.
Shane-O-Mac and Owens have been at each other’s throats for months, and the animosity between the two exploded when KO savagely attacked Mr. McMahon and later slugged it out with Shane in a brutal Hell in a Cell Match that saw Zayn shockingly help KO survive – and win. After reforming their friendship, Owens and Zayn made the situation even worse by attacking their boss at Survivor Series and helping cause the demise of SmackDown LIVE in the Men’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match.
