In Ring Segment: WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman
Heyman says his job is to sell us on something that in his opinion has already been sold. At No Mercy, Lesnar will defend the Universal Championship against the single most worthy challenger for the title, Braun Strowman. For the first time since Lesnar faced Undertaker, Lesnar is the underdog. Heyman runs down all of the times Strowman has gotten on over on Lesnar. Strowman can’t just win the Universal title, Strowman will have to take the Universal title from Lesnar. This situation reminds Heyman of when Lesnar destroyed everyone in 2002 on his way to the WWE title. Heyman asks Lesnar if he is ready.Heyman tells Strowman to get to the ring so they can fight. Strowman’s music hits and Strowman power walks to the ring. Strowman gets in the ring and Lesnar tries to German suplex him. Strowman fights out of it and drives Lesnar into the corner. Strowman picks up Lesnar for a power slam. Lesnar reverses it and German suplexes Strowman clear across the ring. Lesnar celebrates but Strowman pops right up to his feet. Lesnar turns around and Strowman is standing right behind him. Lesnar looks like he has seen a ghost. Strowman grabs Lesnar by the throat and chokeslams him. Strowman lifts Lesnar off the mat and running power slams him. Strowman puts his foot on Lesnar’s chest and poses with the belt. Strowman places the title on Lesnar’s chest and pats it three times.
