PWInsider.com is reporting that rapper Wale is backstage at Monday Night Raw tonight in Washington D.C. It’s unknown whether or not the Grammy-nominated star will be appearing on television, as he’s from the area and could just be backstage visiting friends and enjoying the show.
Wale was the host and judge for the recent Rap Battle on Smackdown Live between the New Day and the Usos, culminating in their tag team title match at this weekend’s WWE Battleground pay-per-view.
It’s also being reported that a rematch between Enzo Amore and Big Cass has been discussed for tonight’s show. The two recently faced off at WWE Great Balls of Fire. Already confirmed for WWE Raw is Sasha Banks vs. Bayley with the winner getting a title shot at SummerSlam, Finn Balor vs. Elias Samson in a No Disqualification match, and a handicap match pitting Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose against The Miz, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel.
