Backstage News On Why Bray Wyatt Defeated Seth Rollins on Raw and GBOF
For the past number of weeks, Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt have feuded over Rollins calling Wyatt a “false prophet.” Wyatt was able to defeat Rollins at both the Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view, as well as the following night on Raw. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Wyatt winning was simply a way to keep a heel strong to feud with Roman Reigns down the line.
Based on recent reports, which was further developed on Raw, it looks like a four-way match will take place at SummerSlam for the WWE Universal Championship. The speculation is to put the title on Reigns, for the sake of someone competing with it more than Lesnar. In the three and-and-half months of Lesnar winning the championship, he has only defended it once. With the title on Reigns, more feuds can be developed for the championship.
