-Drew Galloway vs. Zack Sabre Jr. (EVOLVE Championship) – Match never took place as Galloway took out the referee before the match and a brawl ensued between Galloway, Sabre Jr., Ethan Page, The Gatekeepers, and Keith Lee.

EVOLVE continued the momentum with the buzzworthy EVOLVE 82 last night in Queens at La Boom. Once again, the fans in La Boom provided an electric atmosphere! We have good and bad news as we head into tonight’s EVOLVE 83 in Brooklyn, NY.

Tonight will be Drew Galloway’s final EVOLVE event before going to NXT fulltime as Drew McIntyre. Galloway could leave as the WWN Champion.
WWN Champion Matt Riddle was successful in his first WWN Title defense last night at EVOLVE 82 against Timothy Thatcher. In good news, Riddle has agreed to defend the WWN Championship against Galloway tonight. The contest will still be an I Quit Match.
Galloway insists that he will die before he says I Quit. He says he wants to take the WWN Title to NXT. What will happen tonight in this historic bout? How can either man make the other say “I Quit” and lose the feud with stakes as high as the WWN Championship?
We have bad news. Darby Allin suffered a fractured elbow in the Last Man Standing Match against Ethan Page at EVOLVE 82. The injury happened when Page hit him with a shovel. The unfortunate accident caused Allin’s flesh to tear right down to the muscle. Allin still gutted his way through the pain for several more minutes before succumbing to the ten count. This was the kind of effort that becomes legendary. Allin is expected to be in a cast for at least three months.
As of this writing at 10:18am EDT on Sunday, Allin was still in the hospital. Allin might be held one more night to make sure the injury does not get infected. We wish the best to Darby. You can tweet #ThankYouDarby to send well wishes to this incredible individual.
