Drew Gulak confronts Mustafa Ali in the back, and says that he wants to change 205 Live. He calls the style of the promotion reckless and risky, and tells Ali to join him on the right side of history.
We cut back to the entrance ramp where four stars of the WWE UK Championship Tournament are reintroduced to the crowd. We have Trent Seven, Mark Andrews, Wolfgang and Pete Dunne. The crowd pops big for Dunne and gives him a solid “Bruiserweight” chant. Out comes WWE UK Champion Tyler Bate, and it’s announced that a weekly WWE UK show featuring these stars and more will be coming to the WWE Network in the very near future.
WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville comes out to the ring for a “victory celebration”. He yells at the fans for backing Austin Aries at WrestleMania, and asks how it worked out for them. He says this is a celebration, and wants to “thank” the fans for never believing in him and lighting a fire under him to become as good as he has. He then “thanks” Austin Aries, without whom his enormous victory at WrestleMania would not have been as satisfying. The third “thank you” is to the entire 205 Live roster, basically for losing to him and making him famous. He’ll be taking a seat at ringside to watch tonight’s main event, so he can watch “four more lambs” coming to the slaughter.
