This second video of WWE Roadblock predictions features Justin LaBar and Juice Springsteen in studio and Josh Isenberg from Florida. Here’s some excerpts of the conversation:
Justin LaBar:
Next is Seth Rollins vs. Chris Jericho, which I’m really looking forward to this match bell to bell. This feels like a, we have to get the two on the show, and they’ve manufactured this issue between the two; which mainly stems from Kevin Owens. For Jericho it’s Kevin Owens, for Seth Rollins, it’s Triple H.
Juice Springsteen:
I feel like this match, along with the main event match are all there together. This match is only there because of the Owens thing. We’ve talked about it before..I don’t know if Kevin Owens interferes to cost Chris Jericho the match.
Justin LaBar:
Well, you assume that the Kevin Owens match is last. So, if you believe Kevin Owens is involved in this match, you’re going to see prior-to, which isn’t something they normally do.
Juice Springsteen:
No, they don’t. I still think the right way is to have Owens and Jericho to have a title match at some point. The Royal Rumble is coming up, and who knows what will happen around Wrestlemania.
Justin LaBar:
Yeah, I’m still sold on Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho at the Royal Rumble is the way to go. People that want to hold it out until Wrestlemania, I think that’s too long. Next you have, Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns. I still say Kevin Owens, but the closer we get to this and I’m starting to have more doubts. You can do Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho without the belt. That match doesn’t need the title at all. I know that Vince hates the word, “belt.” You can go without the title for this feud. Obviously Kevin Owens has a lot of support, but it would seem so random for Roman Reigns to take the title. What would happen to the U.S title? Who does Roman Reigns battle at the Royal Rumble then?
Juice Springsteen:
That’s why I think the United States title, as easy as it would be to say for Reigns to drop the U.S title if he won both belts, it’s the fact that he already has this one title, there’s no way he’s going to have another title. That leads to, will Kevin Owens take it to Wrestlemania? Will he have a program with Jericho at the Rumble? What’s going to happen? Is there any other guy to come out of the fray? Do we assume Rollins and Triple H have something then? There’s a lot of unanswered things.
Justin LaBar:
I’m also assuming that there will be an appearance by Chris Jericho during the Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens match, which again, it makes me wonder. Roman Reigns walking out with both titles after the pay per view just doesn’t seem like the way to go. Then again, the handling and booking of Kevin Owens hasn’t been idle lately, same with Rollins, and I attribute that Triple H hasn’t been around. I’m glad they’ve been calling him out again, which I assume Triple H at Seth Rollins will be the Mania match.
Juice Springsteen:
Do you think Triple H will make an appearance during the Jericho and Rollins match?
