What’s up everybody Matt Goldberg here bringing you another installment of Figure Friday! This week taking a look at the all-new WWE Elite 45 Seth Rollins figure!

This is Seth Rollins in his epic “white ranger” attire he wore at Summer Slam and Night of Champions 2015. This figure was easily one of the most in demand figures this year as this attire was just so highly anticipated by collectors. It’s a great figure honestly and you can currently get it on RingsideCollectibles.com, Amazon.com and at Walmart stores if you’re able to find him this time of year! Start hunting now if you prefer retail, as it’s almost the crazy holiday shopping time!

Taking a look at Seth Rollins in the packaging you can see he has the typical Elite style packaging. He’s placed in the box flaunting the older style WWE title from his victory at Summer Slam 2015 over John Cena. I really like when Mattel poses them in the packaging versus just placing them in there as it just gives the figure a nicer look for display. It makes more unique and I praise them for doing that for mint on card collectors. On the back you can see stats about Seth, including all the titles he’s won as well as whom else is in the set, including: Roman Reigns, Bubba Dudley, D-von Dudley, Lex Luger and William Regal. I will be reviewing all of them over the coming weeks so stay tuned for that!

Looking at Seth Rollins out of the packaging you can see he comes with his entrance vest, which honestly doesn’t fit him that well. It’s a repainted version of his other Elite that came out many series ago, Elite 37 to be exact, but this one for some reason won’t seal in the back. It could just be a defect with mine but be aware of it. It’s a thinner rubber that you can kind of stretch a bit; just don’t pull too hard as it can break. The other complaint people have with his vest is that the gold lines aren’t painted that well. If you’re super anal about this stuff I recommend taking a close look at the store, as sometimes Mattel’s quality control can be a bit frustrating. Mine doesn’t look too bad fortunately; just the back is the issue. When you decide to remove him from the vest I recommend pulling one side over one shoulder then pull the opposite side over the opposite shoulder so you’re not fully pulling in one direction completely. This will put less strain on the vest as I said it’s a thin rubber that feels like it could tear easily.

Once you have his vest off you can see they made him pretty ripped, as they do most figures. He has the typical Elite style articulation with his ab crunch joint, ball jointed arms, ball jointed legs and double-jointed knees.

Looking at his head you can see he has the typical Seth Rollins smirk on his face. This is honestly his best scan to date in my opinion. I feel this one looks more like him than his previous ones. I’m not a big fan of open mouth head scans but it looks like him for sure. It captures his character best I should say. What’s also notable about this scan is the fact he doesn’t have as much blonde in his hair as his other ones have, which is interesting to me. It looks nice though as the others had quite a bit.

Examining the figure more closely you can see the great amount of detail on him that just makes this figure pop. All the gold trim on his tights to his kneepads to his boots to even the logo where his belt is with the little silver holes is just great! Not to mention his wrist bands having the detail as well. He also has his spine tattoo, hidden a little bit by his hair. He even has molding on the back of his kick pads to give them an extra realistic touch. I don’t recall that molding on his previous figures but I could be wrong as it’s been a little while since those released.

And lastly, the older style WWE title that comes with Seth Rollins. If you missed out getting this title with previous figures this is a great opportunity to pick it up. What’s nice about this one is that it’s a shiny version versus the dull version that came out not long ago. Many people complained that it wasn’t shiny like all the other WWE titles from Mattel. The same title comes with Roman Reigns in this series if you prefer him to this Seth figure. It has the WWE logo engraved on the side plates, as they don’t personalize them for each guy, as that would be too costly for Mattel sadly. If you’ve never seen the belts before they are perforated with notches so you can size it accordingly to the figure you are trying to place it on. The detail in the belt is nice though as you can feel where the jewels would be as well as the engraving the title actually has.

Overall, I do recommend this figure. It’s nice that it’s different to all of his other figures. I believe that’s partially why it was in such high demand. If you’re a fan of Seth Rollins I suggest picking this one up as I don’t know if we’ll ever see another Seth Rollins Elite in white as he seems to be wearing black and or gray these days. As I said before it is just about holiday season so if you’re looking to get him you can get him from Ringside, Amazon or at Walmart stores if you’re able to find him. This will probably be the most popular figure in the set based on all the people I’ve seen going crazy for it.
