This first of three segments of Chair Shot Reality this weekend talks about some hot topics and then covers NXT in 90 seconds. First, Justin LaBar and Juice Springsteen talking Brock Lesnar on RAW. LaBar talks about the experience being in Minneapolis on RAW and how he thinks WWE could have done it differently:
Why did it have to be RAW? Have him show up at Hell in a Cell or RAW next week to answer Goldberg. There is plenty of time until Survivor Series. Obviously they weren’t going to have Goldberg make his return in Minneapolis because that would have been bad. As I wrote on Upgruv.com, they had Curtis Axel on the show who is a Minneapolis native. He got a huge pop. Have Brock Lesnar come out and interrupt and attack Axel. Have Paul Heyman say Brock Lesnar used this city to go to college and kick ass. He doesn’t care about Minneapolis and he doesn’t even live here. Now I know Vince likes to be able to promote coming next on RAW is Brock Lesnar so he would have probably been against Lesnar’s appearance on the show being a surprise in terms of when he shows up in the three hours. But jesus, that would have been better then sending Brock and Heyman out there like they did expecting them to be heels. Have them come out and kick Axel’s ass and say screw you Minneapolis, screw you Minnesota, screw you Bill Goldberg and we’ll see you in Toronto.
The conversation continues on Lesnar and what to expect next Monday from Goldberg. The two then talk about Randy Orton and why they don’t think Orton is actually joining The Wyatt Family as some might think.
Finally, the segment ends with Josh Isenberg giving his quick thoughts on NXT. Here’s a sample of what he had to say:
It was all about, for me, the return of Mickie James. One of my favorite women of all time. Women’s Champion multiple times and have a great WrestleMania moment against Trish Stratus about a decade ago. She returns and will face Asuka. I’m excited as a fan but it does show all you need to know about NXT’s depth in the Women’s division.
