Jim Ross Says Brock Lesnar vs Bill Goldberg is “Seriously” Being Discussed in WWE, Goldberg Appears to Respond to Internet Reports

On the latest edition of “The Ross Report” podcast, host and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross said WWE has been seriously discussing a Brock Lesnar vs Bill Goldberg match. Ross speculated the bout could take place at either WWE Survivor Series or WrestleMania 33. Ross reiterated that this is simply a rumor at this point, but it did come from trusted sources who are usually reliable.

Goldberg seemed to respond to today’s reports of him and WWE having serious talks about a return, and speculation that a deal might already be done, as he posted the below Tweet. As noted, Goldberg will be speaking out on ESPN this week about his current WWE status and relationship with the company.
