Samoa Joe comes out for a promo, and says he wants to talk face-to-face Shinsuke Nakamura in the ring, and calls him out. Nakamura comes to the ring and Joe talks about Nakamura being a worthy opponent, and when he (Joe) finally gets his rematch, he wants his title back too. Nakamura agrees and goes to leave, but Joe attacks him and slams him into the steps. Nakamura ends up getting taken out on a stretcher after Regal and doctors check on him.
