The following matches make up last night’s NXT TV taping results from San Jose, California. The matches were part of a scheduled NXT live event on the brand’s tour of California leading into NXT Takeover WarGames this weekend:

Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan defeated The Mighty (TM61)
Oney and Burch won after breaking up a finisher. The Mighty attacked Burch and Lorcan after the match
EC3 defeat Marcel Barthel
– EC3 took some early damage but ultimately got the win. He cut a promo on Bobby Fish afterwards
Mia Yim defeated Vanessa Borne
Yim won with Eat Defeat
Lars Sullivan defeated Keith Lee
– Lars won after hitting Freak Accident in a match described as a hoss fight. Lee also had a nice over the ropes spot. Kona Reeves cut a post-match promo, saying he was disappointed in Lee, and got beat up. Lee hit Kona with his finisher twice.
NXT Tag Team Championship
War Raiders defeated Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong (with Adam Cole) via disqualification
– Bobby Fish caused the disqualification after using a chair at ringside. Ricochet then came out to make the save
Velveteen Dream defeated Johnny Gargano
– Dream won with Purple Rainmaker. Gargano was playing heel big time.
Jessamyn Duke & Marina Shafir (with Shayna Baszler) defeated Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai
The Horsewomen attacked Sane after the match, but Sane and Kai eventually got the upper hand including an elbow by Sane, which knocked Shafir and Duke out. Kairi then took Shayna out with a Insane Elbow
Tommaso Ciampa defeated Aleister Black
– The final moments say Ciampa try to leave with ‘Goldie’ but Velveteen Dream ran out and sat on a chair on the ramp to block him. Johnny Gargano superkicked Black during the distraction and then Dream came down and took out Ciampa before posing with the title.
