As noted earlier, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was sitting ringside at tonight’s NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II live special and took his seat during the opening match between No Way Jose and Austin Aries. WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks is also ringside for the show, as are Becky Lynch and Charlotte. The trio were there to support fellow “Four Horsewomen” member Bayley in her quest to dethrone NXT Women’s Champion Asuke.
Mauro Ranallo and a number of the WWE Cruiserweight Classic competitors were also shown on camera during the event. Kota Ibushi, one of the best Japanese wrestling stars working anywhere in the world today, was spotted with the CWC stars as well as backstage in the dressing room with Shinsuke Nakamura as he prepared for his NXT Championship match against Samoa Joe in tonight’s main event.
There were also a couple of non-WWE guys in attendance. British wrestlers Trent Seven and Tyler Bate of Mustache Mountain were spotted by several of our readers, and Seven tweeted out a photo from the show.
